About

Hi, I’m Kelly and welcome to my blog! I live and work full-time in Seattle, and I’m a content creator on the side. I love going camping, hiking, on walks around the city. Anything outdoors! It’s my mission to inspire you to get outside and go on new adventures.

My story

I was born and raised in Southern California. Growing up, we went on family vacations in our RV to several places including Yosemite National Park, Lake Havasu, and Yellowstone National Park. I remember learning how to ride a bike without training wheels at Yosemite.

In 2015, my friends and I went on a roadtrip from California to Seattle. We drove 20+ hours to Seattle, then made our way down to Oregon and Northern California. It was one of the first trips where we made time for hiking, and I remember being in LOVE with the trees that lined the roads in Washington.

After college, my friends and I started hiking and camping more often, and we slowly built up our camping and hiking gear. We went to Big Sur, Joshua Tree, Zion, Bryce Canyon, and the Grand Canyon. But the two I loved the most were our camping trips at Sequoia National Park and Mt. San Jacinto… I think that’s where my love for the mountains started.

Moving to Seattle

After getting married in 2018, my husband Anthony and I had our eyes set on Seattle. A few months later, we applied to jobs in Seattle, and in April, we packed up our life and moved up to Washington!

Ever since moving here, I’ve grown a deep appreciation for the mountains and being by the water. I feel at peace when I’m surrounded by trees or on top of a mountain or by a lake. I hope that my blog helps you explore Seattle, and also inspires you to go outside!
